機能的で緩やかなカーブが特徴のダイニングテーブルをデザイン、作成しました。

テーブル天板の端を斜めにカットし、厚みが徐々に薄くなっています。丸脚の厚みも上下を薄くし、幕板はH型にしてあります。その幕板によって、テーブル内に太もも部分の空間が広くとれて、足元をゆったりしてテーブルを使うことができます。また、天板の下には、ハンス J. ウェグナーのYチェアのようなアームチェアも収まり、お部屋を広々と使うことができます。

 

I designed and crafted a dining table with functional and gradual curves. 

The tabletop of the dining table has been cut diagonally and has the tapered edges. The top and bottom parts of round table legs are also tapered, and under the tabletop has H frame underneath. It is enough space to relax thighs underneath and able to use the table comfortably. Arm chairs such as Y chair  designed by Hans J. Wegner can be also fit under the tabletop and room can be used spaciously.
